Student Grievance Redressal Committee – BA/B.Ed & B.Sc/B.Ed

The Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) for BA/B.Ed and B.Sc/B.Ed programs at SKS College of Education is established to provide students with a platform to express and resolve their issues in a transparent and student-friendly manner. The committee ensures that integrated course students receive necessary support for their academic, personal, and institutional concerns.

Objectives

  • To create a supportive system for grievance handling.
  • To safeguard the rights and interests of BA/B.Ed and B.Sc/B.Ed students.
  • To ensure grievances are addressed with confidentiality, sensitivity, and fairness.
  • To maintain a positive and inclusive academic environment.

Scope of Grievances

The committee addresses grievances related to:

  • Teaching, curriculum, and examination concerns.
  • Classroom, laboratory, and hostel facilities.
  • Miscommunication or administrative issues.
  • Any other matter affecting student welfare.

Procedure for Students

  1. Students may file a grievance through written complaint/email submission.
  2. The committee reviews the complaint and discusses resolution steps.
  3. Both sides are heard before finalizing action.
  4. The resolution is shared within a stipulated timeframe.
