Objective
The primary objective of the SEDG Cell is to support, guide, and empower students from economically weaker and marginalized sections of society so they can pursue their education with confidence and dignity.
Functions of the SEDG Cell
- To identify and support students belonging to socio-economically disadvantaged categories.
- To provide guidance regarding government scholarships, fee concessions, and financial aid schemes.
- To organize awareness programs, counseling sessions, and motivational talks for student empowerment.
- To ensure inclusiveness and equal participation of disadvantaged students in academic, cultural, and placement activities.
- To address and redress grievances related to financial and social barriers.
Support Services
- Assistance in applying for state/central scholarships.
- Fee relaxation and financial support wherever applicable.
- Academic counseling, mentoring, and skill development programs.
- Career guidance and placement support.
