Role of the Ombudsperson

The Ombudsperson is an independent and impartial officer who:

  • Listens to concerns confidentially
  • Provides guidance on resolving issues
  • Promotes fairness and transparency
  • Helps with informal dispute resolution

Issues You Can Report

You may contact the Ombudsperson for concerns such as:

  • Academic or administrative disputes
  • Harassment or discrimination complaints
  • Student welfare and hostel issues
  • Policy clarification

Confidentiality & Fairness

  • All conversations are confidential (with limited legal exceptions).
  • The Ombudsperson is neutral and independent from decision-making bodies.
