The Internal Complaint Cell (ICC) for B.Ed students at SKS College of Education is established in compliance with UGC and government guidelines to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. The cell is committed to preventing and addressing any issues related to gender discrimination, harassment, or misconduct within the campus.
Objectives
- To provide a secure platform for students to register complaints.
- To ensure confidentiality and fairness in handling sensitive matters.
- To spread awareness on gender equality and respectful behavior.
- To promote a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment.
Functions of the Cell
- Receiving and addressing complaints of harassment or discrimination.
- Conducting inquiries with fairness and impartiality.
- Organizing awareness programs, workshops, and seminars on gender sensitization.
- Ensuring preventive steps to maintain a healthy academic atmosphere.
Complaint Procedure
- Students may lodge complaints in writing or via email.
- The committee reviews the complaint and initiates an inquiry.
- A fair hearing is provided to both parties.
- The decision is communicated confidentially to the concerned student.
