Objective
The Equal Opportunity Cell works to promote diversity, inclusiveness, and equal access to academic and career opportunities for students from all backgrounds, especially those belonging to marginalized or disadvantaged sections of society.
Functions of the Equal Opportunity Cell
- To ensure a discrimination-free campus where all students are treated with respect and dignity.
- To provide guidance and support to students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, minority communities, and differently-abled categories.
- To organize workshops, seminars, and training programs on equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion.
- To monitor and address grievances related to discrimination or unequal treatment.
- To encourage participation of students from all sections in academic, co-curricular, and placement activities.
