Anti-Ragging Cell – B.Ed

About the Cell

The Anti-Ragging Cell (ARC) for B.Ed students at SKS College of Education is established in accordance with UGC regulations to ensure a ragging-free campus. The college maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of ragging, bullying, or harassment, thereby creating a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.

Objectives

  • To prohibit and prevent ragging in any form on campus.
  • To promote discipline, mutual respect, and positive interaction among students.
  • To provide students a confidential mechanism to report incidents of ragging.
  • To ensure swift and fair action against those found guilty of ragging.

Functions of the Cell

  • Regularly monitor student activities to prevent ragging.
  • Conduct awareness campaigns, seminars, and pledge ceremonies.
  • Take immediate disciplinary action in case of reported incidents.
  • Provide counseling and support to affected students.

Complaint Procedure

  1. Any student can report ragging verbally, in writing, or via email.
  2. The committee will investigate promptly and confidentially.
  3. Strict action will be taken against offenders as per UGC/State guidelines.
  4. The complainant will be informed about the action taken.
