Anti-Ragging Cell

At SKS Group of Colleges, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy against ragging in any form. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where students can pursue their education without fear or intimidation.

Objective

The Anti-Ragging Cell has been established in accordance with the directives of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India to ensure that the campus remains completely free from ragging practices.

What Constitutes Ragging?

Ragging includes any act of:

  • Harassment, teasing, or rude behavior
  • Physical or psychological harm
  • Forcing students into undesirable acts
  • Disrupting academic or personal comfort of any student

Functions of the Anti-Ragging Cell

  • To prevent ragging on campus through awareness programs.
  • To monitor student activities and ensure discipline.
  • To receive and act on complaints related to ragging.
  • To take strict disciplinary action against offenders.
  • To coordinate with hostel wardens and faculty for continuous vigilance.

Complaint & Redressal Process

  • Students can report incidents of ragging in person, in writing, or through the official complaint portal.
  • The cell will immediately investigate and take necessary action.
  • Complaints will be handled with confidentiality and sensitivity.

  • Student Representatives

At SKS Group of Colleges, we ensure that every student feels safe, respected, and protected. Any student found involved in ragging will face strict disciplinary action, including suspension, expulsion, or legal consequences as per UGC regulations.
