The Anti-Ragging Cell (ARC) for BA/B.Ed and B.Sc/B.Ed students works actively to create a fear-free and inclusive campus where integrated course students can focus on learning and personal growth. The college strictly enforces anti-ragging laws to provide a supportive and disciplined environment.
Objectives
- To ensure a ragging-free atmosphere in classrooms, hostels, and campus areas.
- To spread awareness about the legal consequences of ragging.
- To encourage students to practice cooperation, equality, and peer bonding.
- To provide a safe complaint mechanism for reporting ragging incidents.
Functions of the Cell
- Conduct orientation sessions and anti-ragging workshops for integrated course students.
- Display anti-ragging rules and helpline numbers across the campus.
- Take disciplinary action against offenders as per legal provisions.
- Ensure 24×7 support for students who feel threatened.
Complaint Procedure
- Students can lodge complaints through a written note, helpline, or email.
- The ARC verifies facts and ensures confidential investigation.
- Actions are taken as per UGC/State anti-ragging regulations.
- The resolution is communicated to the complainant at the earliest.
