The Start-up Cell for B.Ed students at SKS College of Education has been established to inspire future teachers to become innovative educators and edu-preneurs. The Cell encourages students to develop creative ideas in the field of education, such as new teaching methods, digital tools, and learning resources that can be transformed into practical ventures.
Objectives
- To promote entrepreneurial thinking among B.Ed students.
- To encourage the creation of teaching aids, digital apps, and classroom innovations.
- To provide mentoring for start-up ideas related to education and training.
- To connect students with incubation centers, funding agencies, and schools for idea implementation.
- To help students develop leadership and management skills for education-based ventures.
Key Activities
- Idea Generation Workshops: Helping students brainstorm innovative teaching solutions.
- Entrepreneurship Seminars: Sessions with educators, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.
- Incubation Support: Guidance in turning ideas into small projects or ventures.
- Competitions: Start-up idea contests and exhibitions of innovative teaching aids.
- Networking: Linking students with NGOs, schools, and educational start-ups.
